Things You Should Never Miss When in Thailand

Thailand is the most fun country that i have ever came, beside so many fun place everything in there is so much cheap compared to Indonesia especially Bali. And if i have a change i really want to go to Thai angain. Well after spent a week in thai i will share about the things that you should probably not miss when you visit Thailand.

1. Street Food

yup! Thailand will win because their have so many street food that we can try. and most of them is yummy and cheap!

Mango Sticky Rice or Khao Nieow Ma Muang,
this one isn't really cheap but if you didnt try this one you didnt come to Thai yet.

Loti Crape, this is for the sweet tooth the banana feeling will make you happy;)

and this one called kanom-krok i love this so much! you should try if you see this in the street.

2. Cheap Sushi

There is a sushi street that you can buy although it tasted kindly cheap but why not you try a sushi that cost only for 5 bath (IDR2k) per peace?

3. Themed Park

Omg! there is no word cant describe how awesome themed park in Thailand. They just so many and so cute. And i hope you can visit some of them:D

There is 2 district i've visited it was Cha am and Khao Yai. and two of them just AWESOME! i want to cry:(

4. Go travel with motorcycle

Go rent a motorcycle couldn't be a bad things in all ways. you can go whenever you want without worried about the transportation. and the cost is really fit for 2 person:D

it cost around 250 bath (IDR 100k) for one day

5. Try all the unique thing in SeVel

i love entering rare supermarket to find out things that i have never seen before! and because thai have so many unique things just like japan with cheap cost so I LOVE IT SO MUCH!

6. Drink Thai Tea as much as you can

Yes drink thai tea in Thailand will not same as you drink it in your country, so since it is really cheap, so drink until you drunk!

7. Dinner in Pla Thong Thai BBQ

i've already share about how lucky i am to found this place, you can read it in HERE

you can eat thai BBQ with only 159 bath per person, super affordable:D

8. Shopping til' you lost your money

shopping in thailand is no joke, even they have morning and night market in the same place (pratunam). And there is so many night market in Thailand. You will lost your mind when you already enter it, so becareful hahahaha

ps: i even didnt take any picture in the night market:( so i take it from the internet

9. Visit Temple

this is a must activity in Thailand isn't it? the most important is you should visit Grand Pallace, but becarefull you can lost your partner just like me:(

10. Explore Chatuchak

Chatuchak is the biggest market i think its like a maze hahahaha and full of people. Chatucak only open in week end so if you have time why don't you come to Chatucak? so many thing you can found there:D

THAI ITINERARY (LOST IN BANGKOK)

Im so sorry to write this post now, it should be the best time to post it 2 month ago when it was still fresh. Hahahahaha I am so busy, even I didn’t know what am I doing. But all I know there is 3 things that filled up my day this past 2 month. It is Chasse In The Trap, Internship, and Creative seminar. And all of them takes my time and my mind these 2 month.

By the way, I am so happy to share my Thailand’s Itinerary to you! I hope this can help you and you can learn from my bad things

Hahahha since me and my sister used to be a solo trip, so we prepare all the things by our own. Hotel, destination, transportation, including money lol. It was not easy but it was super fun yet. Before we went to Thai, my sister kinda busy about her job. So I find the hotel, destination and transportation all by my self. Alone. The most part I’d liked was the destination, bcs I’ve find it since 6 month before we go hahahhaa. I started to find the hotel a month before we go, and I stared to find the transport when we arrived in Thailand. Hahahhaha this is serious. We even didn’t know what kind of transportation, what number, and where we can found it in the airport when we still plane. That how we doing=))

But Thailand is not that hard, even they don’t really speak English, but they helpful and fun! By the way you can read about how I found the transportation after we arrived in Bahasa (HERE)

Well, honestly my itinerary didn’t goes really well. Why? Because I have not yet find about the transportation yet. I only set it up by the distance from the map. So the first thing you can learn from me is: DON’T BE LAZY to find the transportation and estimation from 1 place to the next place in you itinerary. Hahahhaha but seriously before I went to Thai I was so lazy to find about it=))

And yes it didn’t goes really well hahhaha we change it by the time we will go there . Oh if you curious how we find the transportation in Thai, we bought 1 sim card (we can use it for 2 by using personal hotspot and search the bus number or sky train with google map and choose with local transportation. They will tell you kind of transport you can use, the estimation and the cost is really possible.

Don Muang International Airport – Victory monument – Hua Hin

So we decide to explore the left side of out itinerary map first, it was Phetchaburi and Huahin. We go to Victory Monument (Vicmon) with bus (15 bath) and sky train and it takes about 1 hour (including confusing, getting lost, buying snack, etc) and after that we takes a mini fan (180 bath) to Phetchaburi for 3 hour! Whoops my ass totally crack while sitting in the car. Our last stopped is in a BIG C supermarket, and we try to see what was inside. We tried KFC, go to the super market and bought a sim card there. After that we asked to the sim card seller how to go to our guest house and kindly she help us to talk to the local motorcycle driver. It about 40 bath per motorcycle, and noted it we still bring our luggage hahaa. so we got our own local motorcycle to the guest house. And they leave us in the crossroal……. Luckily my sis saw the map already so we walk a bit more to the guest house.

We have a high expectation for the guest house, or literally I ha ve big expectation because I have already found so many good review about it. And yes White Monkey Guest House was totally super AWESOME! So we deciding to take some hour to rest after our long journey. Since we only sleep about 3 hour and got to the Airport at 5am and arrived at the guest house at 5pm. We have seen some restaurant close to the guest house and decided to take a night walking. But when we past the mini lobby we ask is there any place we can go to? And surprisingly they said there is a night market close from there. Wohooo I am totally blessed! Isn it? Mhh yes im hahhahha it didn’t finish yet, we saw some bicycle in front of the guest house and though that it was for rent, but it was guest house’s facilities. We can use it for 2 hour for free yipiii (don’t worry you still can use it for more than 2 hour I think coz we use it for 2,5 hour=)))

And its not night market I think, it is the heaven of the foodies! Heaven totally heaven! It is a semi indoor market and all the people selling food, snack, beverage and also fruits. We decided to try all the things. It was crazy! And I consider that the food in HuaHin was more cheaper than Bangkok. One portion of noodle or rice with so many vege/meat only cost 30-40 bath which is in Bangkok it’s about 50-100 bath. So I thing this place is a ‘MUST COME’ place for you!

PALIO VILLAGE : Almost get lost

I really like traveling to the rare place in another country, because its kind of lucky when people say 'is that really Thailand? I did not found it when i go there" kind of achivement btw hahaha. So when i going to travel overseas, i will find as many as i could about the unique and hidden place. And this place is one of the hidden gems in Thailand. I swear Thai has so many interesting place to come, and a week is not enough at all to explore the gems in thai.

In Palio Village you can feel the atmosphere of Europe but not in Europe. Its located in Pak Chong District which is its 2,5 hour from Bangkok. I recommended you to use mini Fan from Victory Monument. only cost around 150 bath per-person for one way. After that you can take tuk-tuk to go directly to Palio Village, its only about 20 bath per person.

This place is really photoable and awesomely awesome. There is so many random shop here with vintage decoration start from food shop, spa, restaurant, and of course souvenir spot.

So let me tell you the real story,

beside the awesomeness of Palio Village view, we (me and my sister) had a kind of crazy story. We go from Bangkok to Khao Yai with mini-fan about 10 am and arrived about two and half hour so its about 1 pm and we should ride a tuk-tuk firstfor about a hour. Until we arrived in Palio about at 3 pm. the only thing that i ask about the last schedule is the mini fan, they said the last one is at 6 pm. So we have a mind set that we should go back in 5 pm. and we have 2 hour to spend in palio. After we finish and try to finding the tuk-tuk about 15 minutes and there is no single one of it passing by, so we asked the local people around there and they said the last one is already passed. And............ we-just-lefted by our last tuk-tuk. Did we should stay in there until the next day??!
honestly i still can relax and didn't got panic. hahahahah but after we asked some people who can speak english, they said there is a tuk-tuk who will take all the hotel staff to go back to the city. So we put our last hope in there and one of the polio's security help us bet called the tuck-tuk driver. we have waiting about a half hour but nothing come, and starting to panic hahahahah we ask the security a several time and his english was bad but what i can get is he said 'it haven't come, just wait' and yes finally thanks to God, it is come. and all the passenger was a hotel staff. So we asked to one of them where should we stop if we want to ride a mini fan to Bangkok, fortunately one of them can speak english well, she even call the mini-fan staff to booking the seat for the last mini-fan for 2 person. She asked her boss to help her to book it for us. Omg too many good people here:'( after arrived she and her daughter also bring us until the mini-fan station:)))) that day was totally full of blessed tho.

WELL things that you can learn from me is: DO NOT come to Palio without staying at least one night, hahahahah because i also realise there is so many unique place as Palio in Khao Yai, also you didn't need to panic like me:/
